Overview
To provide students with the knowledge and skills required to lawfully, safely and efficiently transport logs by road.
This course also benefits drivers already employed with log transport companies, assisting organisations to meet Log safety Council recommendations, giving employers the confidence that their driving staff are operating in a lawful, efficient and safe manner at the required industry standards.
Training and assessment is undertaken in both theoretical and practical environments with as much of the activities as possible undertaken in-cab in real time situations. This ensures drivers are trained in realistic environments and minimises disruption to normal log transport operations.
