Overview
To provide the knowledge and skills required for a management or supervisory role in the fabrication, welding and fitting and turning trades.


Content
Graduates of this programme will be able to:

  • Supervise workplace operations
  • Demonstrate knowledge of quality and its management
  • Use core quality management tools
  • Prepare project costing estimates, and
  • Apply hazard identification and risk assessment procedures in the
    workplace.

Career Options
Management or supervisory role as an industrial engineer, eg. Refinery, general engineering, fitter and turner, design and construction


Admission Information
Must have successfully completed a Level 4 Certificate in Mechanical
Engineering or Fabrication.


Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 5.5.
