A graduate of this programme will be able to:

Further Study
Admission Information
Applicants must be 17 years of age or older at the start of the course,
unless otherwise approved by the Programme Leader.
If under 20 years of age applicants must have a secondary qualification
of at least NCEA Level 3.
Applicants over 20 years of age at the time of application must:
- Provide evidence of their ability to study at the required level
- Be able to participate in rigorous activity. (A medical certificate may
be requested.
- Demonstrate a keen interest in sport, fitness or recreation.
An entry requirement is that each student can reasonably expect to achieve the standards required for successful completion of the programme.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language require a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
Qualifications Gained:
Northland Polytechnic Diploma in Sport and Recreation
Northland Polytechnic Certificate in Sport and Recreation (Level 5)
- after 1 year and required credits.
