NorthTec is proud to be accredited by NZICA to deliver the academic programme that enables students to acquire the ACA qualification. Our dedicated staff includes a number of Chartered Accountants who know the business and are keen to pass their knowledge on to students.
Students can enrol into the Bachelor of Applied Management degree in either 1st semester or 2nd semester.
What is the aim of the course?
There is a New Zealand and world wide shortage of accountants, this course - the Bachelor of Applied Management (BAM) with accounting major - aims to ensure students receive an internationally recognised qualification - NZICA ACA.
What is the content of the course?
The course is made up of 26 papers relating to accounting, economics, data analysis, communication, management, law, finance, and computing.
How is the course delivered?
The course is offered on a part time or full time basis, delivered over two 17 week semesters per year. Students have the choice of class contact, online or flexible delivery for many papers.
What career outcomes could I expect from this course?
One of the best features of the Bachelor of Applied Management is that graduates will be useful and employable. This degree is a practical ‘hands on’ programme of study that will prepare students to deal with the reality of daily work in business.
